The global mobile device market is shaken by the arrival of a new handset, as Saygus V2 sees its debut at CES 2015.
Developed by a Salt Lake City based company, called the Saygus, the new V2 smartphone has been equipped with all those features that a consumer can dream about. It contains 5-inch full HD borderless sunlight viewable display, accompanied by Corning Gorilla Glass. Its powerful 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and 3GB RAM ensure an outstanding gaming experience. It has 64 GB internal memory. More interestingly, it contains Dual MicroSDXC slots, which has an expandable storage capacity of a whopping 256 GB!
If this is not enough, then there are some more incredible features. The Saygus V2 smartphone sports 21 MP rear camera and 13 MP front camera. Both of them contain the optical image stabilization feature. More significantly, the device has been equipped with the NFC chip. Other notable features are: an IR transmitter for controlling TV, integrated wireless Qi charging chip which enhances battery life by 50%, Harmon Kardon sound system with 3D audio, Cypher sound system for eliminating noise, biometric fingerprint scanner mounted on the side and a powerful 3100mAh battery.
In case of the operating system, Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat) is being used. However, there is a strong possibility of upgrading it to Lollipop very soon. A unique feature of the new smartphone is the ability to boot other operating systems, including Linux and Salfish, through the MicroSD.
Despite the pricing information of the smartphone hasn’t been revealed yet, Saygus vice president for corporate development Chris Baker states that the cost would be much lower. It strongly indicates that the high-end smartphone will be tagged with a price range of below $1000.
The Saygus V2 is definitely going to take the global smartphone market by a storm. It has received an honoree award in the section of wireless handset at CES 2015.
