Doritos Super Bowl 2015 Ads Voting ends in Two Weeks

One of the 10 Doritos Super Bowl 2015 ad finalists is getting some heat for being a rip-off.

The 10 Doritos Super Bowl 2015 ad finalists are up for vote since early January. Two of the 10 consumer made Super Bowl Ads will air during the Big Game. There are two weeks left until the public voting ends on January 28. One of the Crash the Super Bowl entry titled “Trouble in the Back Seat” got some unwanted attention early on, but it appears that the rip-off allegations are too far fetched.

According to an Adweek report there was a 2010 commercial that also had a kid in the back seat of a car show a sign to a police officer. The 2010 commercial titled “Drama Queen” was made by Finnish director Rogier Hesp, who received for the ad a Young Director Award in Cannes. Watch both ads below. What do you think?

It is hard to say this year which of the 10 Doritos Super Bowl ad entries will air during the Super Bowl. I imagine that “Trouble in the Back Seat” has good chances.
