Audi looks to capture the NAIAS 2015 with its new Q7 SUV.
Anyone who followed the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 will remember that Audi presented a wide range of innovations in the technology fields of controls and displays, connectivity and lighting technology in driver assistance systems and in piloted driving.
These new hardware and software solutions by Audi are flexible and intelligent and provide with added operating comfort. Talking about the new Audi Q7, all the driver of this new model needs to do is to issue a voice command and the navigation system immediately will display what he required of.
This big SUV’s new all in touch MMI basically lets the driver zoom and scroll just like on a smartphone. The MMI also includes the module Audi Connect which connects this new model to the Internet through the LTE standard.
Moreover this new model by Audi allows the driver to use a smartphone in order to link up with the software environment of Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The new Audi Q7 will also be the model that will open the new chapter of Driver assistance system.
This system surely has everyone mesmerized after the show that Audi put up in Germany with its RS 7. Now the driver assistance systems make driving safer and pleasant. This system will from now on be available in all Audi model lines and will be debuted in the Audi Q7.
Moreover drivers will experience some new services that will be available in the Audi Q7 such as the Audi smartphone interface. Plus the sound system of the new Audi Q7 is just outstanding with the premium sound systems from Bose and Bang & Olufsen which integrate additional speakers. These additional speakers then open up height as a spatial dimension.
Plus the Audi Q7 is coming in three different models which include the Premium, the Premium Plus and the Prestige. All these models are going to be equipped with different and better features and so are priced differently.
The Premium is priced at $48300, the Premium Plus is priced at $54800 and the Prestige is priced at $61900. The Audi Q7 has been equipped with the legendary Quattro all-wheel drive system.
Moreover Audi is giving a chance to its customers to select their own engine in the Audi Q7 from a choice of 3.0 TFSI or 3.0 TDI engine. Plus the Audi Q7 has headlights that feature xenon, LED or Matrix LED technology.
This selection of headlights have alos been left up to the driver. This new model has also been equipped with the latest developed two zone deluxe air conditioning system by Audi. Moreover the drivers will also have an option of a four zone system.
With all these new features and a killer design it seems that Audi’s Q7 has captured the limelight at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2015 which is being held in Detroit. NAIAS 2015 or Detroit Auto Show 2015 started on January 12th in COBO Center, Detroit, Michigan and it will end on January 25, 2015.
