HTC M9 is coming with a Smartwatch this March

HTC is reportedly going to unveil its smartwatch with Under Armour fitness service integration along with its flagship M9 smartphone with Snapdragon 810 and 20MP back camera in March, 2015.

HTC Corp has planned to introduce its new M9 smatphone in March with better and improved camera and audio features. Moreover along with this smartphone, HTC is also going to launch its first smartwatch, accoreding to Bloomberg. The company it seems is doing this in order to increase its three years of falling sales. 

The new smartphone by HTC has been code named M9. The phone is said to be equipped with a 20 megapixel rear camera and an HTC UltraPixel front camera. Plus the new smartwatch by the company will link with Under Armour Inc.’s (UA) fitness service, which means that it will build on a partnership announced earlier this month.  

The Taiwanese company has considered releasing the products around the time of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Here the world’s biggest smartphone makers which will include Samsung Electronics Co. and Huawei Technologies Co.

These companies will also be displaying their smartphone models at the event. The new smartwatch by HTC shows the company’s efforts to move beyond the slowing smartphone market after the introduction of the ‘Re’ action camera last year. 

Now coming to the phone’s features, it will be equipped with a 20 megapixels rear facing camera and the front facing camera will be using the UltraPixel concept. This means that it will be better for low-light selfies.

Basically the UltraPixel sensor has been developed by HTC and it features fewer and larger pixels designed to get clearer images in lower light. This shows that HTC has kept up with the new trend of selfies in order to provide customers with what they want.

Moreover the new M9 smartphone will run on an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor which provides the new phone with advanced video capabilities.

Now coming to the audio features the M9 will not stay behind from any other phone in the market and will be featured with a Dolby 5.1 audio technology.

Plus the phone will also come along with Sense 7 which is HTC’s latest Android skin and will also provide improved location based services.

When talking about the new phone’s design it will resemble its predecessor the M8 is size and design, which was out last year. 

Plus now HTC saw a rise in its shares which climbed 5.4 percent to NT$155.50 which is the highest since /4/30th last year. Moreover the company has also revealed its first quarterly sales growth since 2011.

With such new features it seems that the new M9 smartphone by HTC /4/be able to make inroads in the smartphone market. Plus the smartwatch along with the UltraPixel concept in the front camera /4/help HTC achieve its goal.

HTC sales have fallen since 2011 and it has been due to HTC’s failure of using the latest trends and features, but now it seems that the company has got its act together.
