Rosetta discovers Building Blocks of Life on Comet

The Rosetta Probe into the Comet shows signs of the building blocks of life on it. This is an important discovery alright.

The Rosetta space probe landed on a comet which shows for the first time ever the visible signs of rudimentary life (building blocks of life). The host comet has a variety of prominent landscape details which have some pretty interesting stuff about them that has just been revealed.

After the European Space Agency‘s (ESA) Rosetta 11 arrived on the Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, it began preparations to sift through the data regarding the comet’s composition and evolutionary history.

The vital stats of the comet have been taken and they include its dimensions. These have under their rubric a small lobe and a large lobe. The volume of the critter is 21.4 square kilometers.

The massive space body has a weight of 10 billion tons. Composed of mostly water, ice crystals and common dust, the comet has a high density. And its porous condition is very extensive in its nature too.

As for the internal environment, it probably has holes in it. The high tech camera, with which photographs of the surface have been taken, revealed 70% of the area while a smaller portion on the underbelly remains unexplored. Some of the key areas on the comet have been named too (after various Egyptian gods).

The comet shows signs of the building blocks of life, that is amino acids and carboxylic acids. These have been seen on other comets too but none have the chemical makeup that this comet shows.

It seems the comet is many billions of years old and has cliffs, craggy hills, stones and ridges on its surface. It is no ordinary comet, this one which is being observed and analyzed by the Rosetta Spacecraft.

There is something special about it and it /4/yet give us clues about the origins of life in the solar system not to mention the universe. Studying the composition and topography of this comet will yield valuable data for scientists to further ponder over.

A whole cornucopia of information about the conditions during the early phases of the universe could be deduced from the findings of the Rosetta.

The Rosetta comet’s ice and dust probably mixed with each other into an amalgam that was acted upon by the sun’s ultraviolet rays and so the very basic building blocks of life got created from this primal ooze of sorts.
