Scandal presents Extremely Tragicomic Episode on Television

The series Scandal presents an extremely tragicomic episode on television for everyone to view.

The entire nation almost underwent a heart attack a la Demi Lovato when Scandal aired on television. It might be due to the extra mini sausages eaten while looking at the series unfold before you on the TV screen.

As everyone saw Olivia Pope flee from her pursuers, the tragic drop scene provides for some relief. All the audience’s expectations were drenched in cold water when they were not met at the end.

Many held on with a lump in their throats as the scenes came on strong one upon the other. As for Kerry Washington’s acting, it was absolutely superb. She not only deserves an Emmy but an Oscar to boot.

The entire episode was so long that were it any longer it would be called a movie. Images of Jake and Olivia dancing with each other and then proceeding to engage in some hanky panky on the piano proves that there is still some element of sex appeal there.

When Jake sees that Liv is not there he hurries off in search for her. And believe it or not but he is still in his underwear.

There were several other melodramatic scenes that got played out on screen. The car that Jake was chasing turns out to be a dud. Olivia meanwhile has to fight for her life and that is in a tooth and nail manner reminding one of Mother Nature.

There were many opinions among the audience members regarding the series. Some liked it while others were somewhat upset. Olivia’s stint in a dungeon of sorts where she has a partner in Ian who discourages her from trying to escape is shown beautifully.

Suddenly Olivia craftily plans a way out of her conundrum. Olivia is not about to take it sitting down as a hostage. You cannot hold down her enthusiasm to breathe free. The suspense and drama not to mention the kissing scenes prove that Scandal is not for the mild of heart.

It is a fast-paced enantiodromia that leads one on a wild goose chase and leaves one holding one’s head in agony. Most of the twitter tweets left behind by both Shonda Rhimes and Kerry Washington show a high degree of deference towards each other and their fans. They truly give the audience a heart attack!
