VAIO has introduced two new Z series of laptops in the market, the VAIO Z and VAIO Z canvas.
VAIO became an independent computer manufacturer after Sony sold it off. VAIO has introduced two new Z series of laptops in the market, the VAIO Z and VAIO Z canvas. These machines are hybrid ultrabooks installed with Windows 8.1.
Equipped with a rotating display screen, the new VAIO Z series provides a rich experience as it lets the user to alter the machine in various modes. VAIO introduced its last Z series laptop around three years ago. The company has ensured to bring the most updated technology in the recently unveiled laptops. The multiflip mode provides user the accessibility to turn their machine into a tablet as well as a traditional laptop style. In addition, the laptop screen can also be rotated for viewing purposes.
The flagship VAIO Z is expected to be equipped with 13.3 inch screen, a second generation super state drive (SSD) and a 5th generation Core i7 processor. As the company claims, the external body will be made of aluminum and carbon mix, which brings the total weight to 1.34 kg.
VAIO has also promised 15 hours of battery life which is impressive but actual results /4/vary and will be confirmed once the product hits the store shelves. The company also claims that the engineers at VAIO have performed extensive research and development in order to come up with such battery life which could last longer, without any further increase in the laptop’s weight.Another sleek feature is its soundless keyboard, as the company claims that VAIO Z keyboard sounds are far less disturbing as compared to many other laptops.
VAIO Z Canvas will hit the tech retail stores by late part of /4/2015. The laptop is expected to have advanced features however; VAIO claims that it does not have as many modes as VAIO Z carries. It is expect to offer a resolution of 2,560 x 1,704. Further details on specifications are still pending, however, tech giant claims to pack 1 TB of storage inside VAIO Z canvas. The machine /4/also come with a digitizer stylus for a variety of functionalities. Though the VAIO Z series is expected to make a successful return , however, it /4/not be very economical. The machine is forecasted to cost above $1,600.
