ZenBook UX305 is now on sale in US.
If somebody is looking for an alternative to Macbook Air with 13 inch screen, Asus Zenbook UX305 is the best option available. Asus revealed its plan to release Zenbook UX305 back in September 2014 at IFA show in Berlin. The company has announced that the flagship machine is now available for sale in US. Asus claims that Zenbook UX305 is the thinnest machine available in the market with 0.48 inch of width, and does not weigh more than 2.6 lbs.

The Asus Zenbook is equipped with a gorgeous looking 1080p display with anti-glare feature. In addition, the laptop is claimed to be installed with latest Intel Core M Processor, along with 8GB RAM and 256 GB of solid state drive (SSD) which compels this machine to give exceptional performance. The rival companies including Dell revealed its ultrabook 2015 XP 13 which started at $799. Asus has responded back with its Zenbook UX305 with much better specifications and performance as compared to its other rival laptop manufacturers. Other machines from various brands including ATIV Book 9 by Samsung and Lenovo’s Yoga 3 Pro cost around $1200 in the market.
Asus also claims that Zenbook UX305 comes with an exceptional 10 hrs of battery life, which is definitely a big attraction for many ultrabook users. In addition, as mentioned earlier, the screen provides a display of 1080p, however, it is also reported that the company is also planning to launch another Zenbook model with 3,200 x 1,800 touchscreen display, though the price would be slightly higher Many analysts believe that Asus has taken the ultrabook concept to the next level by introducing advanced specifications.
The Zenbook is also claimed to have 802.11ac wireless adapter, an Ethernet port along with three USB ports. A 720p web camera is also installed at the top of the screen and last but not the least; ICEpower amplifier gives fairly decent sound quality. In short, Zenbook UX305 is packed with everything a customer needs, specifically the one with lower budget. It is by all means a powerful and ultraportable device, which can easily be compared with Apple Macbook Air on many points. The expected price of Zenbook will be $699, which appears to be much economical than any ultrabook currently available in the market with such specifications.
