Toshiba has updated its KIRAbook with 5th Generation Intel Core i7-5500U processor.
Consumers must have noticed a number of laptop manufacturers in the process of launching their updated ultrabook editions. Recently Asus launched Zenbook UX305 with high-end specifications. Similarly, Toshiba has also stepped ahead by updating KIRAbook Ultrabook with 5th Generation Intel Core i7-5500U processor, which sports 4MB of cache and is coupled with Intel HD Graphics 5500.
Toshiba also claims that it has updated KIRAbook with ultra high resolution PixelPure display along with 9 hours of long battery life. In addition to above mentioned specifications, the ultrabook is claimed to be a sleek and weightless state of the art device covered in magnesium alloy case. Vice President of Marketing at Toshiba, Carl Pinto, stated that Toshiba’s KIRAbook is one of the best ultrabook laptops currently available in the market.
Taking an in-depth look at KIRAbook by Toshiba, as mentioned earlier, Toshiba claims to load the updated version with PixelPure display which provides a resolution of 2560×1440 for crystal clear images and text, which further makes this laptop perfect to watch high definition movies and play HD games. It is also claimed that the screen will be available in both touch and non-touch choices. In order to provide consumers a bigger benefit of mind blowing display, Toshiba also claims to have the KIRAbook geared up with complementary full version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. Not to forget it will come preloaded with Windows 8.1 Pro.
According to the reports, the device is extremely light weight and portable, and weighs around 2.91 lbs. The touch screen model would utilize Corning Concore Glass which appears to be damage resistant. In addition, the external body is made up with strongest yet lightest material available, magnesium alloy. The KIRAbook is planned to launch with storage capacity of 256 SSD along with 8GB of RAM. The KIRAbook is available from Toshiba’s website for a hefty price of $1,700.
