Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey can’t Wait to Welcome First Child

The Glee star Naya Rivera announced the news of her pregnancy to the world through her Twitter, official website and Instagram account by posting a pic of a ‘BUN IN THE OVEN’.

27-year-old Naya Rivera is pregnant. The Glee alum is expecting her first child with husband Ryan Dorsey. Rivera announced the delightful news herself to the world through her Instagram and official website on Tuesday the 24th of February 2014. 

Rivera previously teased fans on her Twitter account by tweeting ‘First comes love… then comes marriage… then comes…’ with a link to her official website attached to the end. The link opened a picture of a bun in an oven on her site with the bold caption ‘SURPRISE’ written beneath the graphic picture.

The picture depicted a simple oven with a bun baking in it with the announcement written on it ‘BUN IN THE OVEN’, which is synonymous to expecting a kid. The Tweet has been retweeted 4152 times and favorited 5188 times on Twitter, with numerous fans congratulating her on the social media handle.

Rivera then went on elaborate in her statement and declared she is going to have a baby with husband Ryan Dorsey. Rivera further related she and Dorsey feel blessed and cannot wait to welcome the new addition to their family. Below the caption Rivera posted two more throwback photos, one of her and another of her husband Ryan Dorsey when they were kids.

Rivera also shared the news with her fans on her official Instagram account by posting the picture of the graphic ‘BUN IN THE OVEN’, with the caption as ‘XO, The Dorseys.’ written on a side of the picture.

Rivera who played the sassy fan favorite character of Santana Lopez on hit Fox series Glee married her long-standing friend Ryan Dorsey in Cabo San Lucas on the 19th of July 2014. Rivera said ‘I do’ to Dorsey  just three months after breaking up with boyfriend  and fiancé of three years Big Sean on the very same day Rivera and Sean were supposed to tie the knot.
