Christina Aguilera Engaged to Boyfriend

When you bring to mind a musical star of the stature of Christina Aguilera it is no ordinary mortal that will get her hand in marriage. That is why when she was seen sporting an engagement ring this Valentine’s Day, her fans were ecstatic. The film producer Matthew Rutler is the lucky man.

The singer of the famous song “Genie in a Bottle” just got engaged on Saint Valentine’s. She was going steady with Matthew Rutler since the past three years or so. 

Now he is a man with a lot of cash as is evident from the engagement ring he presented her with on the loveliest day in the entire year. He proposed and she said “yes”. 

Christina teased her huge fan base by skipping the word “yes” in the message she left on the social network site known as Twitter. The huge rock that is visible on the ring she is wearing while holding her beau’s hand appears to have been purchased for a hefty sum of money.

There is lush green scenery in the background. It looks like the couple made quite a few romantic gestures in this intimate moment of proposal and acceptance. 

Christina met Rutler for the first time on the set of her film Burlesque which was shot three years ago. Since then they have shared there lives on the basis of their mutual affection for each other.

Christina was married to Jordan Bratman prior to her relationship with Rutler. They have a six year old son named Max. The two obtained a divorce in 2010. 

Rutler has played a very important role in Max’s life since then as a guardian and friendly father figure of sorts. Today with Christina and Rutler getting engaged, Max will get the love and family environment of a mother and father as all children should. Christina says that her new husband is the love of her life and that she absolutely adores him.
