While some companies go to extremes to keep their developments a secret, some intentionally slip away a few things to the potential customers. Apple on one hand has tried to keep its Apple Watch as far away as it possibly could from the outside world but Lenovo is being quite open about their smartwatches. This is exactly what Lenovo CEO, Yang Yuanqing, did with the successor of the already existing Moto 360. For those who haven’t kept up, Lenovo is the new owner of Motorola and has taken charge of all Moto devices.

Whether it was intentional or unintentional, the picture is no longer available on the Chinese social network Weibo but of course the picture is still rotating around various websites on the internet. The picture shows a padded case which holds pretty much everything staring from the design of the smartwatch, the straps, the bezels and many other assorted watch parts.

These fully and partially-assembled watches hold a strong resemblance to the Moto 360 and if it hadn’t been for those lose circles or lugs, we might have taken this image to be of the Moto 360. In case you haven’t taken notice, the lugs connect directly to the springbar and hold the strap in place. These lugs use an exposed design as opposed to the Moto 360 which uses a hidden lug design. Those who want to change their straps would be happy to know that the sequel to Moto 360 is offering such a convenient feature.

However, the “flat tire” cutout is quite unsightly and we don’t see why Lenovo got stuck with this cutout design even after adopting the new exposed lug design.
