James Corden ready to host The Late Late Show on CBS

The first guests at this show will be Oscar winning actor Tom Hanks and Mila Kunis.

It has been finalized that James Corden will take the stage as the new host of “The Late Late Show” on CBS. James Corden had actually gone in to the CBS to give an idea for a sitcom and instead walked out with a late night talk show.

The British actor will be succeeding Craig Ferguson as the host of the show. Corden upon being selected stated that no matter how much the people are shocked by this decision none of them can be as shocked as him. James Corden has been doing test shows all week at “The Late Late Show” studio at television city in Los Angeles. 

His first TV guest was Anthony Mason and both discussed the new gig. Corden stated that all this is very different than everything he has ever done and I know nothing about this.

James Corden is very well known in Britain and has more than 5 million Twitter followers. The 36 year old British actor has most recently been seen in the films “Into the Woods” and “Begin Again”. Even though he is a comic actor he was never a standup comedian. 

However James Corden is quite an actor had has won a Tony for his brilliant performance, beating out Phillip Seymour Hoffman, John Lithgow, James Earl Jones and Frank Langella. After winning the Tony Corden stated that the Tony and all the other awards that he has won in New York were his most prized possessions and used to be placed in my house for everyone to see but now they are in a warehouse in London.

Corden moved to Los Angeles in January with his wife and two young children. Previously Corden has been a game show host in Britain, in films, on Broadway and will now host a talk show but even then he considers himself as an actor. 

The premiere of “The Late Late Show” with James Corden will air on Monday night on CBS right after “The Late Show with David Letterman”. Moreover the first guest at James Corden’s talk show will be Tom Hanks and Mila Kunis.

Then the next we will be able to see Chris Pine and Patricia Arquette with musical guest Modest Mouse and then on Wednesday Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell will make their presence at the talk show.

They will be coming to the show to promote Get Hard. Apart from this the lineup at James Corden’s talk show includes the renowned footballer and fashion icon David Beckham, then there is Simon Cowell, Claire Danes, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Thomas Lennon, Mark Harmon, Katharine McPhee and many more.
