Boot Camp in new Mac models no longer support Windows 7

Those who want to use the Boot Camp will have to upgrade to Windows 8 now

Boot Camp had been answering all our Windows dreams while also retaining the Apple spirit; a very rare combination but made possible up until now. Boot Camp is the tool in the OS X which lets users to do a native installation of Microsoft software on a partitioned hard drive and this came at the height of the conflict of interests and relieved many problems. Windows 7 was the most popularly used Windows version on majority of the Apple computers and also the adoption rate for the Windows 8 had been less after it sailed away from the contemporary Windows feel.

Fans of Windows 7 and Apple will be disappointed to learn that the Boot Camp on the latest MacBook and refreshed MacBook Air & Pro models is no longer going to support Windows 7. This has been confirmed by the Boot Camp support document which clearly makes the statement telling that the Boot Camp for these models is no longer going to allow for Windows 7 installations.

If you are still sticking to Apple computers but also don’t want to leave behind the Windows platform then you will have to move on to the Windows 8. The support for Windows 7 in Boot Camp for the 2013 Mac Pro model had been dropped by Apple earlier on and we are seeing no reason why this trend wouldn’t continue for the future Mac releases.
