Ruby Rose joins ‘Orange is the New Black’ cast in season 3 first trailer.

The official first trailer of ‘Orange is the new black’ was released yesterday by Netflix. The trailer takes us through an assortment of emotions filled with threats, fights and tears. After watching the 2 minutes and four second trailer we were appraised with a lot of new plot developments. 

The most prominent revelation was the addition of Ruby Rose in the cast of the all-female inmates. Ruby Rose will be the latest inmate at the Litchfield Penintentiary’s and will play the character of Stella Carlin that has already caused quite the anticipation.

The 28 years old Australian model looks suave and edgy even in the standard prison garb. The brunette beauty is sporting a boyish haircut and the trailer showed her making quite a blast in the life of the inmates.

The trailer shows Stella Carlin having already caught the eye of Piper and according to sources her character will be a ‘lust object’. Alex on the other hand is shown behind bars but she doesn’t seem to be happy about the fact. In fact Stella is going to cause friction between both Piper and Alex as a potential love interest to both.

Other major revelations deduced from the trailer include the release date of the 3rd season, which will be June 12th 2015, with all the episodes being released at once. Another boot for the fans is in the form of the absence of Larry Bloom in the trailer. The trailer omits the presence of the douche bag character entirely. 

A few glimpses also reveal some of Nicky’s backstory and Pennsatucky is back in a big way after Piper beat her in the end of season one. Finally the relationship between Dayanara Diaz and officer John Bennett is also revealed to be moving forward with both of them appearing affectionate on the prison yard.
