The new version will retain many specs but will come with a new high resolution of 3200×1800

The 14-inch Razer Blade that was introduced last year by Razer is getting a new version now but it will still include the quad-core 2.2GHz Intel Core i7-4702HQ processor and 8GB of RAM which was featured on the previous one. Many other components have also been retained in the new version but the one thing worth looking forward to is the 3200×1800 resolution display which is a completely new feature and has now come in place of the previous 1600×900 resolution display.

The display which is the major differentiating factor here will make use of an IGZO panel and will have multitouch support to bring out the best in the best in the Windows 8.1 OS. The display is powered by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M which has a 3GB DDR5 VRAM and a standard integrated Intel HD 4600 graphics. The exact measurements of the model are 13.6″ x 9.3 ” x 0.70″ and at 2.03kg it weighs a little more than the previous model. The battery will last for upto six hours of regular usage but 2 to 3 hours while gaming.

The price tags will also be different and upgraded for obvious reasons. The base model of 128GB will be priced at $2,199 and the other models of 256GB and 512GB SSD will have different prices. Sporting the new 3200×1800 resolution display will make this new version of the 14-inch Razer Blade the only notebook in the market with a resolution this high.
