No price listing for US, however Sony UK online store lists a price of £499 (around $824)
We all know FCC as the giant when it comes to approving the gadgets and it sure does like engaging in documentation for further clarification and this documentation helps us get our hands on some more details. Some publications from Sony came in today and they clearly indicate towards what has been the green lit in US consumption and it comes out to be the model number SGP521 which we know as the new Xperia Z2 tablet.
This new thin and light tablet by Sony will be available in Wi-Fi only and the LTE flavors. This model will also feature a cellular radio which is capable of riding on basically any frequency you might encounter anywhere. The documents by FCC have shown agreement on this one with Sony and this gives rise to the curiosity that tests were carried out solely on LTE Band 17. This probably comes with the AT&T domain which hints towards the tablet variant which comes locked in such a way that comes with a data plan. So far we only have this much relevent information and we are not sure whether other networks will have their own variants or not. Talking of the price, the tag in the US market remains a mystery but the online UK store of Sony has listed a price tag of £499 (around $824).
