The phone is going to hit other markets by May
Home countries seem to be enjoying a lot of privileges when it comes to mobile phone launches. This is again true in case of the Huawei P8 which is going to be internationally released in /4/but China is already enjoying the phone which has been launched today in the country. However, the phone is already sold out and we are quite positive that the Chinese customers really liked the phone.
Huawei’s own online shop Vmall was selling the phone for 3,588 CNY (about $579), and nobody needs to be disappointed because news has it that Huawei is already working to get the stocks building up again. When the phone becomes available in Europe, it is going to cost €499 and it would most likely be priced at $500 for the US market.
With its thin profile, the Huawei P8 has taken the market by a storm. With mere thickness of 6.4 mm, the phone is slimmer than both the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6. The new phone, which sports an all-metal construction, also beats last year’s Huawei P7 with its larger 5.2-inch 1080p display.
Moving on to the internal side of things, the P8 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Huawei’s EMUI 3.1 and is powered by an octa-core 2 GHz HiSilicon Kirin 930 processor. The camera setup is pretty impressive too with 13 MP on the rear with OIS and an 8 MP for a front shooter. The phone has 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB worth of internal storage space.
