Rihanna and Sarah Jessica Parker Met Gala gowns generate the most memes on the internet!
Rihanna wore a yellow canary Guo Pei robe to the Met Gala on Monday night in New York City. The dress became the focus of a lot of jokes and ridicule on the internet and fans created numerous memes on the social media. The memes comparing Rihanna’s dress ranged from pizzas to omelettes and went viral on Twitter and Instagram.
Although Rihanna wore the most memorable statement dress of the night the look has become the butt of numerous food related jokes. The singer accessorised her gown with a crystal-embellished Guo Pei headpiece, some Cartier jewellery along with Christian Louboutin heels.
However the Instagram user @michaelmajesty used photoshop to accessorize RiRi’s gown with pepperonis, tomatoes and bell peppers slices, turning her into a pizza slice.
Another Twitter user @zaynsed placed Rihanna in a frying pan and altered her image to look like her dress is an egg omelette and entitled it as ‘huevos a la Rihanna’.

On the other hand user @YisasChrist compared Rihanna to the cartoon character Sponge bob by placing the head of the animation in place of Rihanna’s face, while @jazzonce_ compared Rihanna’s likened to a yellow colored condom.

While the Philip Treacy Custom headdress worn by Sarah Jessica Parker was made fun of on the social media. SJP’s outfit was contrasted with devilishly red fire and Flame Emojis.
Other users such as compared @MissAbbyMcLain the headdress similar to the cartoon ogre Heat Miser the children’s television special ‘The Year Without a Santa Claus’ in 1974. The user @SartoriallyInc compared SJP to Dragon Ball Z’s Super Saiyan headgear.
