Mariah Carey dazzled at her first concert at the Colosseum in Sin City!

On Wednesday Mariah Carey started off her performance residency in Las Vegas in the Colosseum at the Caesars Palace. Mariah performed her heart out in front of a full house which holds 4100 seats in a stream of several glittery costumes. The pops starlet performed her 18 number one hits in a chronological order and pulled off all the high notes in her angelic voice she is famous for.

The pop singer daringly squeezed her voluptuous figure in costumes which left little to imagination as hunky dancers performed behind her. The male dancers went on to hoist the singer up to which the crowd cheered uproariously.

The performance by the estranged wife of Nick Cannon even included several crops such as hot pink Thunderbird convertible, a revolving bed and a neon yellow jet ski. However the concert did see one small misstep when one of Mariah’s dress suffered a wardrobe malfunction and a stylist had to come on stage to mend it in time, while Mariah kept the show going by singing.

Mariah’s most memorable costumes included a Victorian collared dress she wore while performing her hit ‘We Belong Together’ and a black leotard she wore with fishnet stocking while performing the 1997 song ‘Honey’. All the costumes did have one thing in common which was to reveal the ample curves of the singer who appeared to be in perfect shape.

Mariah’s signature Butterfly symbol was adorned in all her performances in a very grandiose way and the event even proved all of her lip-synching critics wrong as she pulled off all the theatrics.

Mariah’s performance team consist of ten dancers, six-piece live band, three back-up vocals and two DJs with no expenses spared. One successful performance down only 17 more left to go for Mariah Carey in Sin City.
