The actor was originally supposed to be the guest star in the pilot but now will appear more in the series as much as his schedule permits
Bradley Cooper who was initially just going to appear in the pilot episode of the “Limitless” is now having a recurring role in the CBS new series. According to Variety, the Oscar-nominated actor will try to appear in the series as frequently as possible depending on his busy schedule.
The new series “Limitless” is based on the 2011 film of the same name and will pick up where the film left off. In the original film, Bradley Cooper played the role of Edward Mora, a lost man who has come to a point in his life where he thinks he has no future. The series also feature Hill Harper as special agent Boyle and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as special agent in charge Nasreen Pouran.
Bradley Cooper is the executive producer of the series as well. This will be Cooper’s first ever TV show as an executive producer and will be his first appearance in a television series since Nip/Tuck in 2009.
The pilot episode is directed by “The Amazing Spider-Man” helmer Marc Webb and will air on Monday June 1. However, the series will be regularly broadcast on Tuesday this fall.
