- Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea Grace Billboard Music Awards 2015 and Sing Pretty Girls
- Iggy Azalea Also Wins Top Rap Artist Billboard Music Awards
Both Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea graced the Billboard Music Awards and sang the song Pretty Girls to the delight of their fans.
Las Vegas was the site where Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears sang their number titled Pretty Girls. And the occasion was the Billboard Music Awards. When they alighted on stage, they kept things real and danced and vocally expressed themselves to the funky music. The onlookers gave a rousing ovation to the two.
Britney was her usual bubblegum pop self, while Azalea, who has earned a controversial reputation recently, delivered her stacatto lyrics. Iggy and Britney later on posted a pic of the two of them together on Instagram. The music video of Pretty Girls is all about Iggy being an alien from outer space who lands on earth and that too in Britney Spears’ backyard. The two musical artists got to spend some quality time together while the music video got made.
Azalea later on said that Britney was a really good person. Azalea had been texting her constantly and had taken her for a sounding board. But Britney was cool about the whole thing and didn’t mind the constant questions one bit. That is why Azalea liked her so much.
Watch below the video of Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea’s Pretty Girls performance at Billboard Music Awards 2015.
Meanwhile, Iggy won the title of top rap artist at the Billboard Music Awards. As everybody knows, Iggy is the maker of such hits as “Fancy” and these works of liquid architecture that please the ears have earned her many accolades. However, Iggy’s winning this coveted award was not shown on the Billboard Music Awards video.
Iggy actually trumped such hugely popular talented individuals as Nicki Minaj, Drake and J.Cole. As to the question why Iggy got the honor bestowed upon her, well, it is because she has had the lengthiest presence on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. Then there was Azalea’s “Problem” which hit the #2 spot for quite some time.
It is the third time that Azalea has received a Billboard Music Award. Meanwhile, coming back to the Britney/Iggy ouevre, titled Pretty Girls, the two are shown riding around in a car and a jeep in all sorts of sexually provocative poses. Then they visit a club and dance to their heart’s delight there. Finally, Iggy’s spaceship arrives and Britney is taken for a ride in it alongside the alien Iggy.
