Due to a former marriage, Sarah Palin’s daughter’s fiancé had to call off the wedding that was due to take place later this week.
The perky Governer’s daughter Bristol Palin has a lively soul. She has competed in Dancing with the Stars and is lively and a happy woman. She was happier still when she met her dream guy in the Medal of Honor recipient, Dakota Meyers.
Bristol was sure of marrying Dakota Meyers later this week. She had called off her engagement with Levi Johnston twice even when she had a son with him. Still Meyers had won her heart but there was a problem.
Meyers was married before and there is a little doubt whether he got divorced or not. Although he assured Sarah and Bristol that he was but until confirmation on paper, the wedding had been called off. Sarah saved the happy couple who had been preparing for the wedding for months now to break the news.
She announced on her official Facebook page that the wedding was off on the fixed date even though they had invited their families and relatives. She said they were lucky to have the support of their families and friends who would gather for a bar be que no matter and celebrate and bless the couple’s happy life.
Until another date is announced, the couple will be facing the tabloids together. Sarah Palin also posted below message of Bristol for clearing up rumors that tabloids salivate over:
“Regarding salacious headlines in recent days about “secret wives”, Dakota and I discussed our past relationships prior to our engagement. Dakota was legally divorced years ago, as any good reporter could and should have disclosed to readers. As usual, false stories and dramatically written headlines begging controversy should be disregarded, and we have faith that our privacy will be respected at this time by those with decency. Thank you! – Bristol”
