Kandi Burruss Ties The Knots With Producer Todd Tucker

Kandi Burruss, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, has finally tied her wedding knots with producer Todd Tucker. The wedding was blessed with family members and friends and took place this Friday in Atlanta. According to In Touch, the actress was simply delighted and was kind enough to share her emotions saying that “This is one of the best days of my life! I never imagined that I would marry my best friend. Todd’s been that to me. And to have just had the wedding of my dreams, it’s all been so beautiful. Now it’s time to party!”

The engagement of Kandi Burruss, 37, and Tucker, 40, had been going on since January last year and they had first met in 2011. Tucker presented his proposal with a stunning 2-carat diamond ring while they were at their Atlanta home. The actress describes the entire scene as if she can replay it just perfectly in her mind. “[I was] totally surprised,” she told Us Weekly at the time of the proposal. “I used to make jokes with my friends that I [was] part of the Forever Single Club. That’s what I said before, but now I’m totally different.”

The fans of the show were also delighted to see the relationship of the two unfold in front of them however there was apparently one problem they both had to face. It has been reported that the mother of Kandi Burruss was not so happy with the relationship and was calling Tucker an opportunist. But finally in January this year, she had no other option but to come to terms with her daughter’s desires.
