Google has always a hard time keeping things under wraps until the Google I/O keynote. Now the dedicated Google Photos app for Android leaked.
The Google I/O 2015 developer conference takes place coming week. The Google I/O keynote is on Thursday. The leaks ahead of the Google I/O are increasing dramatically. Now the Google Photos App leaked in detail over the weekend.
Android Police published a set of screenshots of the new Google Photos App that will be separate of Google+. When launching the Google Photos App a spinning pinwheel is displayed as you see on top.
The Photos App looks pretty straight forward and offers a clean design according to the leaked screenshots. The functionality is also straight forward and has no surprises. The app, like its current Google+ version, allows to search for specific people, animals, or objects, back up photos automatically, and general photo management. There is a revised interface with several views to choose from.
The photos in users’ accounts will be also available on the web under photos.google.com.
Android M is also leaking left and right ahead of the Google I/O. The Google I/O 2015 will kick off with the keynote at 9:30am PDT on /4/28. Tickets are of course already sold out for this conference taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
