An official from the Las Vegas Police declared an official investigation has not yet been launched and cannot start until the Clark County coroner reveals whether King’s death was from natural or unnatural causes.
The autopsy was ordered when two of B.B. King’s daughters Patty King and Karen Williams alleged the death of the late musician was sped up by two of B.B. Kings’ closest aide’s personal assistant Myron Johnson and business manager LaVerne Toney.
According to King’s daughters B.B. King was poisoned and given other foreign substances which resulted in his death. Moreover family members had been kept away from King in his final days. Affidavits from both the daughters have been revealed to the press through their attorney Larissa Drohobyczer, in which they state their father, was poisoned and murdered.
B.B. King died at the age of 89 while in hospice on the 14th of May, in the presence of Toney while none of his family members were present. The autopsy of King’s body took place on Sunday and then was returned to the mortuary subsequently so the autopsy did not delay the funeral service.
B. B. King will be buried on the 30th of May on the ground of a museum dedicated to him in Indianola, a little Mississippi Delta town.
