Enrique Iglesias got himself injured during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico. Some of his fingers sliced as he grabbed a drone on Saturday night, BBC reports.

Joseph Carozza, a representative for the singer told that Iglesias rushed to Los Angeles to see a specialist and he is recovering from the nasty encounter.

“During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot. Something went wrong and he had an accident.” Representative explained the whole situation which led to the incident.

The Spanish singer was advised to end the show but he continued to perform 30 more minutes after the injury.

“He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show.” Representative said in a statement.

The photos posted by press agent Joe Bonilla show that Iglesias continued to perform with bloodied, bandaged hand.

The concert was a part of Iglesias “Sex and Love World Tour” held at a bullfighting ring and attended by a crowd of 12,000 people.
