Josh Duggar Defended by Pastor: God Can Forgive Anything

Josh Duggar actions are forgvivable by God because God can forgive anything, says Dr. Ronnie Floyd of the Arkansas church the Duggar family attends.

It has been called a heinous crime and the Duggar family has been shamed for the ignorant eye they have kept away from one of their own. Coming off as an exceptionally religious family, the family enjoyed a show of their own 19 Kids and Counting on TLC.

Ever since Josh Duggar has been convicted of molesting five girls, the show and the family have faced a major setback. The show is officially off the network, the endorsements have been pulled and the family is in a state of humiliation.

Lately, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have been preparing for a press conference to speak for their family. Before that happens, someone else spoke up about the case. Pastor Dr. Ronnie Floyd who has been a pastor for 37 years now of the five-branch Pinnacle Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas. The church that the Duggars attend.

For Dr. Floyd,, he explained that the incident has come off as a great shock as the family is extremely religious and one cannot expect such a thing.

However, he explained that Josh was a young teenager at the time of the incident and to judge him now on the basis of what he had done at that time was unfair.

He told People’s magazine in an interview that “”Everyone does wrong, and what was wrong was very wrong as to what was testified to and it’s completely unacceptable.”

Still Josh seems to have hope as the Pastor declares that he is thankful that the God he serves is a God who would forgive. Josh would be forgiven for his sins if he would do his penance.

Floyd elaborated that “evangelical Christian ministry is alive and well” The Cross Church has rapidly grown to five campuses and the Pinnacle Church holds about 2,000 people.”

Even with the scandal, the church is thriving. The incident with Josh is not the first in the history to happen nor is it the last so Josh should be spared and be allowed to move on in his life.

This will be a great support to the Duggar couple as the address a criticizing world and tell their side of the story.
