The woman that accused Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch in August of assault has been charged.
Celebrities and also famous sports stars have sometimes tough luck. For some it is leaked private photos and for others it is mistaken identity. A woman has accused Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch of assault and property damage. Turns out the woman just thought the man was Marshawn Lynch because she knows her football.
According to the Seattle Times, 31-year-old Jammie Lynn Ficarelli has been charged on Thursday for making a false statement to a public servant.
Ficarelli got injuries from the night in question but those have been from a fall say witnesses. It is not clear why she got the idea to accuse Marshawn Lynch for assault. According to witnesses the man she was with said several times that he is not playing football.
