Actress Rose McGowan was a victim of a smoke bomb attack in a New York Restaurant.
The Charmed actress Rose McGowan has posted a Tweet that she has been at a restaurant in New York that got attacked with smoke bombs yesterday.
The incident happened at the Bar Pitti. The suspect climbed out of a sidewalk grate and threw two red smoke bombs into the crowded restaurant. He fled apparently again through the grate. The suspect is still at large.
There have been no severe injuries as the bombs landed on the table outside the restaurant according to Mail Online. Smoke did though get inside and customers complained about burning eyes. There is no clue on the motive for the attack.
Bar Pitti is a celebrity favorite. It could be that the suspect has hate against celebrities. While the incident did not cause any serious harm, it raises the question of security. Can the subway network be used as pathways to carry out attacks and escape quickly? Does New York have to weld down the sidewalk grate covers?
