Amazon has given the statistics on matters of Instant Video streaming services. It has overtaken Apple and Hulu and that too by a wide margin. Amazon video streaming has now become the third largest service after Netflix and YouTube.

Amazon has surpassed both Apple and Hulu in the fine field of video streaming services. Only two giants in the arena, Netflix and YouTube, remain ahead in the game. According to the Vice President, the company has made inputs amounting to oodles of cash which had gone on to entertain and excite the passions of the ordinary people for outclass shows.

According to an online video usage growth report from Qwilt, “In just the last year, Amazon moved from 5th place to 3rd place, passing both Hulu and Apple in terms of the volume of video streaming traffic consumed from their site to US broadband subscribers. Today, only Netflix and YouTube produce more total online video traffic in the US. Amazon”s traffic volumes, as measured by Qwilt in March of 2014, increased by 94% over the previous 12 months. In some US operator networks, between March 2013 and March 2014, Amazon”s streaming video traffic increase was nearly 300%.”

Membership of Amazon’s club ensures viewers the latest in prime time visual and auditory bliss. Such popular numbers as Alpha House, Bosch, The After, Mozart in the Jungle and Transparent all contribute towards hours and hours of mental relaxation and stimulation. When the audience simply zones out before their TV sets, it is Amazon which truly makes them thank their lucky stars that they are living in the age of mass media and media saturation.

“We’ve invested hundreds of millions of dollars in great TV shows and movies for Prime members and it’s working,” said Bill Carr, VP of Digital Video and Music for Amazon. “As part of their membership, Amazon Prime members can watch their favorite movies and television shows on an unlimited basis, and as we add original content like Alpha House, Bosch, The After, Mozart in the Jungle and Transparent, we have no doubt that customers will be even more delighted with the selection available. And now, with Fire TV, customers have the easiest way to access this content.”

The addition of Fire TV to Amazon’s repertoire is further proof of its prowess. Amazon is ready to life by the horns. The content that will be streaming to aficionados will contain a lot of thrilling, filling and amazing scenes that guarantee consumer satisfaction on a basic instinctual level. Among some of the other programs that will get aired are: Downton Abbey, 24, Orphan Black, The Americans, Justified, Hannibal, Workaholics, Grimm, Under the Dome, Veronica Mars, SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.

Over 200,000 samples are available for rental purposes. A list of movies that will make your day includes many contemporary modern classics. American Hustle, 12 Years a Slave, Gravity, Dallas Buyers Club, The Hunger Games and Frozen enter the ranks of that roster. Amazon’s incoming profits will amount to a whopping $100 billion in the current year. Where it goes in 2015 is anyone’s lucky guess. And as for the popularity graph of this platform, it just went up by 300%. At this rate it will soon reach the levels of YouTube and Netflix.
