Logitech’s latest gaming mouse has 12000 dpi sensitivity

Logitech has rolled out its latest gaming mouse today called the G502 Proteus Core. This gaming mouse has sensitivity up to 12,000 dpi. Sensitivity can be adjusted from 200 all the way to 12000 dpi setting depending on the needs of the user.

“I’ve been super excited to use this mouse in public, I got to test it and it felt great! Was super comfortable and just fit perfectly to my hand,” said Hai Lam, team captain for Cloud 9. “Adjusting the DPI is super easy and very flexible. This is probably my favorite mouse to date!”

“With the world’s best sensor technology, complete surface, weight and balance tuning and mechanical switches, we have made a mouse that dominates,” said Ehtisham Rabbani, general manager of the Logitech gaming business. “The Logitech G team believes that when hype fades, Science Wins!”

The mouse has a sensor that can be calibrated to ideally suit the surface it is being used on. The sensor can track movement at 300 inches per seconds. Logitech also fits the mouse with a weight system that lets you control the weight and balance of the mouse with up to five 3.6g weights.

The mouse has 11 buttons and each button features a mechanical micro-switch underneath. That microswitch is long lasting and has good tactile feedback. Macros and commands can be bound to any of those keys using included software. The G502 will ship this month for $79.99.
