Andy Wilman quits Top Gear after James /4/and Jeremy Clarkson

Executive Producer Andy Wilman has left his own BBC show which is titled Top Gear. This was after Jeremy Clarkson quit the show. Meanwhile, James /4/has also done the same.

After Jeremy Clarkson left Top Gear over a slight difference of interests with its producers, Andy Wilman has followed suit. Wilman was a long-time buddy of Clarkson and had expanded the show’s format and made it into a worldwide phenomenon.

Wilman had denied the rumors until a divulged email made it clear that such was in fact the case. Top Gear was almost put out of its misery a decade and a half ago. But Wilman and Clarkson decided to improvise and resuscitated the platform into its current superior status.

A simple vehicle program was converted into something out of the likes of Pimp My Ride. The slapstick humor and sassy attitude of the presenters made it a schtick worthy of being viewed again and again.

Meanwhile, after hearing the latest news of the two quitting, James /4/has added his name to the roster. He said that he might as well do the same since the show would not go on at all for even a single episode without the two. However, the three have mentioned that they could reconsider their collective decision and return to breath life back into Top Gear. 

The fact of the matter is that it is very difficult to continue shooting Top Gear without the charismatic and magical presence of Clarkson and Wilman. They were the secret ingredients as far as human resources are concerned that made the show an attractive entity on television.

Without them it would be an impossibility to carry on, said James May. According to some sources, Clarkson had gotten so hot under the collar that he had gotten violent and physically hurt one of the producers. However, the producers are willing to give him a second chance.

We will have to wait and see how it goes. As for James May, he has said that he won’t be working with substitutes. There can be no substitute who can take the place of Jeremy Clarkson, said May. And he meant it.

For now at least things are pretty topsy turvy at Top Gear and the future of the show seems precarious at best. Nothing can be said for sure yet the chances are there that with the passage of time, tempers will cool down and maybe the three members who have departed the show will return to lead it back to its top spot on the list of entertaining features on the idiot box.
