Apple Music Streaming Service launches with 3 Month Free Trial

An AP story in the New York Times reveals that Apple will aggressively market the new Apple Music Streaming service and launch it with a 3 month free trial to crush competition. Apple’s goal are 100 million subscribers for its new music streaming service.

Apple is sitting on the Mount Everest of cash piles. The Cupertino based consumer electronics giant is expected to launch the Apple Music Streaming service based on Beats Music today at the WWDC 2015. Streaming is a market the company is very late to the game. The New York Times reports that Apple has an aggressive marketing plan in place to crush the established streaming services.

The anonymous source of AP reveals in an article printed by The New York Times that Apple is offering a very long 3 month free trial to lure users into the Apple Music streaming service that will cost users $10 per month after the free trial.

Apple has an ambitious goal of getting 100 million Apple Music subscribers as soon as possible. Existing users of Beats Music will be migrated automatically to Apple Music. iTunes costumers will be marketed directly to sign up for the free Apple Music streaming trial.

We expect a huge marketing campaign supporting the launch of Apple Music. Apple is also said to plan improving its free offering, iTunes Radio, with a live online radio station featuring DJs like former BBC host Zane Lowe and artists Pharell, Drake, Muse and David Guetta.

The WWDC 2015 keynote will be streamed live online on June 8 starting at 10 am PDT. The WWDC 15 keynote can also be watched on the Apple TV. The rumor that Apple to reveal finally a new Apple TV with a new TV viewing experience has gotten less steam lately as Apple got stock in negotiations with TV studios.  The Apple Watch developers will also get the first native SDK that will bring more exciting and creative Apple Watch apps.

The biggest topic though is the Apple Music Streaming service. Apple is rumored to plan a $10/month paid service coming with a very long 3 month free trial.
