Apple Sheds Light On Charging Their Smartwatch

Tim Cook has finally commented on the battery inside the Apple Watch

Apple has worked hard to create a smart watch that is going to change the way that we view wearable technology, but so far details have been scarce when much of it is concerned. With a recent announcement, though, we now have more clues as to what we can expect from the battery.

We have already had a look at the charging capabilities of the Apple Watch, which is going to use a new kind of technology and a magnetic charger that simply snaps onto the back of the device. There is also going to be a higher end luxury Apple Watch that will come with a charging stand to make it even easier.

The battery life of the Apple Watch is something that has been rumored to be a problem. Among the rumors swirling before the device was released, there were several times that battery problems were cited as being the reason that it was being delayed. Supposedly, Apple was working hard to create a device that would last for three to four days between charges, but Tim Cook now says that it will have to be charged on a daily basis.

This might be a disappointment for many people, but with the incredible power behind it this could be understandable. That doesn’t mean that the battery life won’t improve in the future, though, because Apple is not known for settling for anything less than incredible. This is certainly going to be an exciting launch, so keep an eye out for more announcements.
