Apple Watch release date could come in February

Exact date could come at rumored event

It has been widely known for the last couple weeks that Apple plan on releasing the Apple Watch sometime during the month of April, 2015. According to rumors that have been going around on the internet on various blogs and first reported by a French tech blog, Apple is planning to have a special event on or around February, 24th and it could be during this event that the exact date in April will be announced for the Apple Watch release and there could be more concrete information about the release of the new 12 inch MacBook Air.

With the news of this late February event, consumers should be certainly getting the inclination that the Apple Watch is pretty much done in the development stage and that the only thing they are waiting on are the exact dates that they will be coming on to the consumer market. Noted technology and security consultant Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the 12 inch MacBook Air would be hitting the market in March so this new event in February could certainly be one that would see that device ready to be sold to waiting buyers.

One thing that this February event is most likely to do for the Apple Watch is give consumers a more clearer picture as to the price of the smartwatch. More information about the battery life of the Apple Watch and an update about the apps that will be available for the device will most likely come out during this event. While one major blog is stating that no such an event will happen, the French website, iGen, has says that they have gotten their information from credible sources close to the Apple Watch development team. One thing for certain is that such an event should come for the 12 inch MacBook Air very soon and a joint or separate event showcasing apps and an exact release date for the Apple Watch should happen sometime before the April launch date.
