Asus Zenwatch is selling for $179 at Best Buy

Best Buy is on fire these days when it comes to smartwatch deals. Initially we saw Best Buy offering a huge discount on one of the hottest looking smartwatches, namely the Motorola Moto 360. The Motorola Moto 360 is currently retailing at $150 on Best Buy down from $250. That saves you a good $100 and made that package all the more sweet.

This time around we see another smartwatch enjoying the same discount treatment. The ASUS Zenwatch is up for grabs at a mere price of $179.99. Originally it was retailing for $200, meaning that you get to enjoy a decent $20 discount on the amazingly capable and stylish smartwatch.

A brief run down on the specs of ASUS Zenwatch reveals a 1.63” AMOLED display running a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels (278 ppi), a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512 MB of Ram and 4 GB internal storage, a 360 mAh battery. It also features an IP55 dust and water resistance rating. Looks wise, it is one of the best looking Android wear smartwatches available on the market right now. The square form factor coupled with the firm stitched leather straps and the premium finish make it difficult to resist.

All in all the Asus Zenwatch is one compelling smartwatch and Best Buy just placed a cherry on top of the cake with that discount. It is shaping to be one hot summer sale for smartwatches with all those discounts coming in. Apple Watch on the other hand is still selling like hot cake despite its hefty price tag. Asus already confirmed there will be no new watch this year unlike Motorola which is gearing up for the next moto 360.
