Beyoncé tops Forbes List of Highest Earning Women in Music

Never mind the billboard charts, Beyoncé is on top of the 2014’s earning charts and now we know why Jay Z is happy with his wife.

Jay Z is one lucky man as he has the most beautiful and the most hardworking wife. Beyoncé has really worked hard over the past year. We know she earned $53 million last year but this year she has managed to more than double her income. This year the star earned $115 million and that made her the top earning woman of 2014 in music.

She was talking to Forbes and she said that you have to work really hard. She also said that you want to be great and you want your friends to like it. She also said that because she knows that she is prepared, that makes her even more comfortable.

Beyoncé played 95 shows and she averaged $2.4 million per city. She also had sponsorship deals with Pepsi and H&M. She also delivered a secret album in 2013. Everyone loved her because of that and that is the reason she was a great hit at the end of the year.

Everyone was buying her hit album and her tracks were on top of the iTunes charts. Then we have Taylor Swift at number 2. She earned $64 million dollar this year which is the highest in her career. Swift has been famous amongst different kinds of people. She used to do country music in the start and that is why she was loved in the country side.

After some time Taylor Swift realized that the big money was in pop music. This is why we have seen this shift and she has now started doing pop music. She has been a hit and this is why she ranks number 2 on the FORBES list.

She also has sponsorship deals with Diet Coke, Keds and CoverGirl. Her new album is set to be released and the name of the album is “1989”.  This album is expected to be this year’s biggest seller and this is why people are eagerly waiting for the album to be released. It might be the last platinum album of all time.

An entertainment attorney Lori Landew said that “A platinum debut is a phenomenal achievement and even more outstanding given today’s market”. It looks like Taylor’s team was spot on this year and this why she has managed to sell so many records. Pink is third on the list and she earned $52 million.

It is really weird to see her so much on top of the list as she isn’t that much famous when compared to the likes of Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. Pink played at 85 concerts this year and she earned almost $1 million per city.

If she keeps on going at this pace, she might even surpass Beyoncé. We expected Rihanna to be in the first two of the list but she is one fourth and she earned $48 million this year.
