Big Ang, Mob Wives Star, has Throat Cancer

‘Mob Wives’ Big Ang has been told that she has a throat tumor. Big Ang has been told that her throat tumor has the tendency to get much worse.

Big Ang’s sister, Janine Detore has stated that the tumor is on the voice box of Ang and that her voice is also deteriorating because of this. Janine also stated that the doctors have determined the lemon sized growth is cancerous after they looked at it with a scope and running blood tests.

However Ang’s family is still waiting for the results of another test that would determine whether the cancer has spread or not stated Janine. Apart from this Janine also stated that there is no history of cancer in their family but she explained that the family thinks Ang’s 42 years of smoking might have contributed to this.

Apart from this she also revealed to TMZ that the doctors have ordered Ang to quit smoking immediately. 

Up till now this ordeal has not been filmed for ‘Mob Wives’ but according to Janine it might soon be addressed on the show. Ang is also scheduled to have a surgery next week in order to remove the tumor in her throat. Janine stated that the whole family is hoping and praying for the best. She also thanked the fans for their support in this difficult time.
