On Friday, CBS has announced a huge line-up of celebrates who will appear in the final episodes of the “Late Show with David Letterman” and the top guests will be Bill Clinton, Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney.
Former president Bill Clinton will appear on “Late Show with David Letterman” on Tuesday which will be his tenth and final appearance on the show. He last visited the show on September 23, 2013. His Wife Hillary Clinton has also been a guest in the past but now since she is running for president, inviting her on the show could trigger doubts and controversies. Adam Sandler will be the other guest on Tuesday’s show.
Before the Tuesday show, radio and television personality Howard Stern and stand-up comedian Don Rickles will be invited on the show to bring smile on the faces and to make farewell week more memorable.
On Wednesday, Julia Roberts will grace the stage of the show. She will be joined Paul Shaffer and singer Ryan Adams. The next day George Clooney and Tom Waits will be the guests on the show. On Friday Oprah Winfrey and Norm MacDonald will join David Letterman on the Late Show. However, guests have not been announced for the last three shows, /4/18-20.
Late Show with David Letterman has been facing a climb in ratings as the sendoff approaches especially after when president Obama payed a visit on the show earlier this week, the ratings reached up to 75 percent which was the strongest since September 2012. The upcoming shows are also expected to maintain high ratings because so many top guests are yet to come. The final show will be aired on /4/20.
Meanwhile, today’s show will feature Ray Romano, Brian Regan and Dave Mathews Band.
