In the video watch the QWERTY double as a trackpad

BlackBerry Passport has been one of the most intriguing handsets ever and much of this is attributed to its unique look and ambitious QWERTY keyboard. The phone is yet to be announced and so far we know that it is going to sport a 4.5 inch screen, and resolution of 1440 x 1440. The phone is predominantly going to have a boxy look to it and the pixel density is expected to be very high. Everything packed inside the phone is quite impressive including the 3 GB of RAM and its 3450mAh battery. Thanks to the BlackBerry 10.3 under the hood, the Passport is going to be accompanied with BlackBerry Assistant. This is more like Blackberry’s answer to Siri, Cortana and Google Now.

Only two days back, a video was uploaded on Youtube which shows the new Blackberry in action and on top of that it also shows its physical QWERTY doubling as a touchpad. The web pages can be scrolled on the screen and all it requires is a light brush of the fingers. This feature can be seen working in the video below. Users will also find that they can double tap the keyboard to position the cursor precisely where they want it. The BlackBerry Passport has created quite a buzz and we are quite sure that CEO John Chen must be really happy about this development. This means that when the phone launches, BlackBerry will be ready to provide competition to both the Apple iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
