Bobby Brown and Pat Houston are Named as Co-Guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown

Both parties will work together and jointly take all the decisions related to the health care of 22 years old singer

Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law Pat Houston will now share the responsibility of Bobbi Kristina Brown as both are named as the co-guardians of 22-year old singer, attorneys for the both sides confirmed on Friday.

“We are delighted to inform the public that the court has appointed Bobby Brown and Pat Houston as co-guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown,” Christopher Brown and David Long-Daniels, attorney for Brown and Houston respectively, said in a joint statement. “Both Mr. Brown and Ms. Houston are jointly responsible for decisions related to Krissi’s (Bobbi Kristina) care and medical needs.”

The court also appointed attorney Bedelia Hargrove as Bobbi Kristina’s conservator to look after her assets and legal and financial matters.

According to New York Daily News, Bobby Brown filed a petition last month to become the in charge of her daughter’s both medical care and financial affairs. On the last hearing, judge decided to appoint father Bobby Brown and aunt Pat Houston who is also the current president of Whitney Houston estate as the co-guardians. Judge also nominated a third party to control the financial matters of Bobbi Kristina Brown.

“We are appreciative of the manner in which Jeryl Debra Rosh handled this matter.” The joint statement further mentioned.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was discovered unconscious on January 21, in her home in Suburban Atlanta and was placed in a medically induced coma. Since then, so many contradictory statements were coming out regarding the health of Bobbi Kristina. Last month, Bobby Brown revealed that her daughter is awake after two months of coma but it turned out later that her condition has been changed and improved a bit however; there is still a long way for recovery. She has been breathing on her own but she has to go through a long rehabilitation before she gets fully recovered.
