  • Britney and Madonna kissing was big story in 2003

Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph spills some beans about the legendary VMAs 2003 when Madonna kissed Britney Spears.

Here is a story that goes back 11 years, but I actually still remember it quite good. The outcry about Madonna kissing Britney Spears on the lips during their performance at the VMAs 2003 was huge. Madonna just locked lips with Britney and then with Aguilera. Now Billboard posted an interview with Larry Rudolph who is Britney’s manager. He remembers the VMAs 2003 collaboration with Madonna.

Madonna was very intense and required Spears’ to be on time each day for rehearsals. Madonna thanked Larry Rudolph after the performance personally. What he did not reveal was anything about the kiss. Was it spontaneous? Was it planned? if yes, who had the idea? Anyway, some things stay secret forever. Watch the video interview with Larry Rudolph below.

Of course the performance of Madonna with Spears and Aguilera is available on Youtube. The trio performed Madonna’s a medley of Madonna hits. Watch the performance below. If you just want to see the kissing we have that for you too, in the second video below.

Britney Spears is now a big act in Las Vegas. As reported last week, Britney Spears’ makes Planet Hollywood over $20m with her residency. In December 2013, the famous singer Britney Spears opened her show ‘Piece of Me’ at Planet Hollywood. Originally the show was to last for two years, but late in September both Britney and Planet Hollywood decided to extend their arrangement for another two years. The hotel offered a $12 million deal to Spears in order for her to extend her residency till 2017.
