The director Bryan Singer recently added novice Aussie actor, Kodi Smit-McPhee in the role of Nightcrawler in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Director Bryan Singer has made the right choice by introducing some new talent in the mix. As the maker of the X-Men Series of movies, he had already brought on some young hearts on board the enterprise. But now with the additional face that is Kodi, the youthful mutant Nightcrawler will get played out with passion and vision.
X-Men basically portrays several characters that have special powers. The stock characters include among their repertoire Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman and Mystique which was recently typecast by Jennifer Lawrence. Whereas Hugh Jackman has his emergent claws, Mystique is covered in blue scales.
Now that Kodi will be joining the crew, things look pretty good for the series. Kodi, some suppose is a newbie and does not have much experience in the field of acting. But that is just not the truth. He /4/be an 18 year old juvenile, yet he has worked in many movies previously.
He was with Viggo Mortensen in the thriller titled The Road. And he also acted in Slow West. Kodi was a major fixture in the Swedish horror genre movie Let Me In too. So he is no inexperienced snot-nosed kid who is still wet behind the ears. Besides Kodi, other new kids on the block as far as X-Men is concerned include James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult.
Kodi looks so handsome and dashing in his demeanor. The boy definitely has personality and he is the epitome of classic laid-back cool. After Bryan Singer announced the inclusion of Kodi in X-Men: Apocalypse, Kodi in turn wrote on Instagram that he was humbled by this honor and would love to act to the best of his ability for the film franchise.
A few of the newcomers on board the vessel are: Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner and Tye Sheridan. They too are thrilled to be a part of the enterprise.
Meanwhile the villain of the nwq X-Men movie who is called Apocalypse will be played by Oscar Isaac. Bryan Singer has a keen sense of selecting the ideal candidate for the perfectly suitable role.
Kodi fits the Nightcrawler role hand in glove. He is the right alernative and besides with the youthful talent coming into the already experienced lot of actors and actresses, it will be like a fresh breath of air for the players playing their respective roles in X-Men: Apocalypse.
