The Clydesdales horses will star in both Budweiser Super Bowl 2014 ads. Budweiser tweets new image of Clydesdales.

Remember when Budweiser wanted to drop Clydesdales from the Super Bowl? It was the year 2010. Budweiser decided to not air a Clydesdales Super Bowl ad because it did not perform well with a test audience. Public outrage forced Budweiser to hold a voting on Facebook. The fans have saved the Clydesdales. Three years later Clydesdales are more prominent that ever. Last year’s Clydesdales Super Bowl ad titled Brotherhood was outstanding and it has won the prestigious USA Today Admeter. Budweiser is this year airing two Budweiser Clydesdales Super Bowl ads.

The beloved Budweiser Clydesdales will also be featured prominently in “Puppy Love,” which continues the story of 2013’s celebrated “Brotherhood” spot and focuses on the connections animals share with one another at Warm Springs Ranch, Budweiser’s Clydesdale breeding ranch. The ad features Don Jeanes reprising his role as Budweiser Clydesdale trainer and introduces a new, young star – a 10-week old puppy that forges a bond with the Clydesdales and, through tenacity, ultimately earns a place on the team.

The second Clydesdales ad is focused on support of the U.S. military and celebrate returning troops with “Hero’s Welcome.”

So there is a lot to do for the Clydesdales horses at the Super Bowl. According to the Budweiser tweet below, they are getting ready.

Super Bowl 2014 will take place in New Jersey on February 2. The big game will be played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford. It will be the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl.
