  • Caitlyn’s Second Lawsuit Involving a Fatal Car Crash

A second lawsuit against Ms. Jenner has been filed in relation to a fatal car accident which occurred in February on the Pacific Coast Highway near Malibu, where Jenner owns property.

A lady named Jessica Marie Steindorff has filed the suit, specifying incomplete information about the damages related to the four-car crash. In this accident a widow, Kim Howe lost her life. Steindorff was one of four additional people who were injured in the incident.

According to the lawsuit, Ms. Steindorff was driving a Prius that was allegedly hit by Jenner’s Cadillac Escalade. The paper work hinted at the fact that it was due to Jenner’s negligence. She has claimed that the accident caused her lost wages, personal injury and more than $25,000 in property damage and medical fees.  However, her injuries are not specified in the suit.

The 69 year old lady who died was driving a white Lexus when Jenner’s car propelled it into the path of an oncoming Hummer on the Pacific Coast Highway. Steindorff who is a Hollywood talent agent, was driving her black Prius in front of Howe.

She claims to be hit by Jenner’s Cadillac Escalade after it pushed Howe out of the way. The accident ended with one lady killed and four people injured but Caitlyn did not encounter injuries of any kind.

It was evident that Jenner was not the direct reason for the death of a person but Howe’s stepkids believe it to be the opposite case. Soon after the accident a wrongful death lawsuit against Jenner claiming that, the death caused damages including loss of love, affection, support, comfort, financial support and more to the children was filed. There were two children who filed a 16 pages long lawsuit.

Jenner took immediate action for the cancellation of the lawsuit. His paperwork specified that the children were not receiving financial support from Ms. Howe. They were living independently in some other state.

The stepchildren in response to this filed back paperwork stating that people cannot judge their relation or financial support from their grandmother. They were very close to the victim. She was like a mother to them. They agreed upon living separately away from her but this accident caused them serious troubles, bot emotional and financial.

There has been disagreement about the role of Steindorff’s car in the crash. The initial inquiry suggested that her car was rear-ended by Howe, and then was hit by Jenner. She denies this and proposes a different scenario. However, Jenner has not faced any criminal prosecution regarding the incident.

The accident occurred prior to Caitlyn’s gender transition. It took place when the news of her transition was at a peak and she was in the process of changing her sex. A follow up of the case is expected to be held in the mid of July this year. Furthermore, it is assumed that Jenner can be accused of unsafe speed and following too closely but not the death suit.
