Wozniacki reached Melbourne and is training for her matches against world class players like Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova but she looks the least under pressure
Caroline Wozniacki is all set to prove her mantle in the 2015 Australian Open Tennis Championship as the former champion Lin Ha retired at the end of the last season. All the players are preparing to get their hands on the title this year and come on top.
After her defeat at the hands of Serena Williams in the US Championship last year, she is determined to win and beat her former nemesis in the process as well. It looks like she might get a chance to do that in this tournament. As Serena is a favorite to win this year so there might be a chance that either she takes it all or she is finally defeated.
Serena’s stars haven’t been in her favor since 2010 where she hasn’t ascended from the quarter finals and this year, the barricade on the quarter final for Serena this year is her former opponent Caroline Wozniacki. Wozniacki will definitely be looking for some payback for her defeat in the Grand Slam title match.
We can assume that both the players are super-motivated as both of them have a lot on the line. According to the draws on Friday, the two ladies will be playing each other on the quarter final match for the title and only one will emerge victorious. The winner will be playing Petra Kvitova. Before that happens, Wozniacki will have to face American tennis player Taylor Townsend in the qualifying match.
Caroline looks prepared and ready to get on the court in her Instagram pictures. She has posted a picture of her training for the matches to come, another picture shows her sitting at the side of the court, preferably her own, with the Melbourne logo just behind her back and the latest picture is a selfie with Rafael Nadal. Both the pros looked happy and excited as they smiled and posed for the camera and we hope they are going to be putting up some tough game on the court.
