Sharknado 3 is coming this July

Tara Reid announced on her Twitter account that she signed up for the third installment of Sharknado followed by confirmation that Ian Ziering will be featuring in the movie as well.

Sharknado seemed like a crazy idea when it the Syfy network but thanks to social media and the crazy fans, not only did it accomplish highest ratings and a nomination in the People’s Choice Awards 2014. A turmoil of tornado infested with sharks wreaking havoc. Ian Ziering was the surfer turned shark hunter in the movie with Tara Reid playing his ex-wife.

The second installment of the movie hit the TV this year. This time the tornado hit New York with Ian and Tara in lead roles again. Kelly Osbourne, Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath, Judah Friedlander, Billy Ray Cyrus, Andy Dick, Matt Lauer, and Judd Hirsch making special appearances. The movie was especially made for Syfy network and got the highest views in the network’s history i.e. 3.9 million views. 

Just when you thought that was it, Tara Reid announced on her Twitter informing her fans to get ready for Sharknado 3. She announced that she just signed on for Sharknado 3 followed by a ‘woo hoo’ so you can tell she is excited. She also tweeted that she loved her fans and they were the best fans in the world.

Another tweet on Tara’s page revealed that it’s not just her that’s returning for the third movie. Ian Ziering is also reprising his role in the third Sharknado movie.

The movie is yet to receive its full title and it /4/again be a competition similar to the one that got the second Sharknado its name; Sharknado 2: The Second One. This installment will hit the US capital Washington D.C. causing destruction up to Florida before hitting the Eastern seaboard. 

But this will reportedly not be the last movie in the series. It could become a summer event for the network which is getting good business for the series and the actors seem to be enjoying it too. So bring on the next movie, we’re ready for more shark fun.
