3 major associations give CES ad awards
The International Consumer Electronics Show 2015 will take place between January 6th and January 9th throughout various venues in the majestic of Las Vegas, Nevada. The Consumer Electronics Association are the ones who are responsible for the commencement of CES 2015 and they have announced that CES 2015 and the CEA have been awarded seven different awards by various professional associations for their advertising and marketing campaigns leading up to the big consumer electronics gathering. The International Association of Exhibitions and Events, the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, and the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals have all tabbed CES 2015 and their advertising campaigns as one of the best in the world this year.
The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts announced that they have given their prestigious Silver Davey Award to CES 2015 for their ‘Expect the Unexpected’ advertising campaign. The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals also honor this campaign by awarding CES 2015 with their Platinum MARCOM Award.
The associations both said that the ad campaign for CES 2015 was one that capitalized on the event from 2014 and focused on how much better that CES 2015 will be than last year. The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals also gave CES 2015 a MARCOM honorable mention award for the revamping of the CES 2015 website. The website also got another Silver Davey award from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. The International Association of Exhibitions and Events gave the Consumer Electronics Association a first place award for their CES 2014 website.
The new CES 2015 website is a revamped one from last year that gives event attendees all kinds of information from event speakers, exhibition locations, and start times of keynote speeches and other events. Industry insiders have said that the site is a very helpful tool in educating and informing people about CES 2015.
