The FL3X and the PIX3L are small pocket sized wireless speakers
Thanks to the concept of getting everything wireless nowadays, we have got tons of options when we think about wireless speakers. And since we can have these speakers from almost every other manufacturer, they need to keep things all shiny and attractive to stand out from the rest. There is where the Philips FL3X speaker from Woox Innovations fits in with its innovative pocket size having sides which can literally be pulled out. This amazing feature lets the speakers be turned into a disk formed with a small cylinder which can deliver rich bass; richer than any other wireless speakers out there.
At first, users might find it a bit tricky to expand the speakers because there are no grooves where you can insert your fingers. This means you will have to be a little patient and strong on your grip in order to pull out the sides. However, once you have done the effort and the speakers are expanded, you will instantly realize the change in sound quality. The music and any other type of audio is evidently going to become deeper with a more resonant quality.
There is also an anti-clipping function attached to the speakers which can eliminate distortion and the difference was quite evident; no matter how loud the music got, there was no noticeable crackling or tinniness.
Did the roundness and size of the FL3X fail to impress you? No worries. Philips has got that covered already. It is also unveiling its PIX3L which is considerably smaller and is like a rounded cube with one corner cut off. This lets the sound be directly aimed at you instead of the wall or the ceiling. Both models are going to arrive on the shelves in March, with the FL3X going for $50, while the smaller PIX3L will cost $40.
